B.B.A. Syllabus
INTRODUCTION:
Curriculum of B.B.A. attempts to enrich knowledge, illustrate concepts as well as Management and deepen the interest in the subject, which are building blocks of business knowledge. Business Administration has undergone changes in its approach. Today the discipline is not only concerned with descriptions but also with analysis as well as prediction.
SCOPE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATIONS:
Expertise in Business Administrations is the need of the hour. Anyone specialized in business related programs is assured of lucrative jobs. They can increase efficiency and profitability of operations through development and improvement of systems and procedures many of which are management aided. At the workplace, they get opportunity to interact with top level of management and thus develop superior management skills and can aspire top positions, not necessarily it alone.
APPROACHES:
The objective of B.B.A course is to prepare the students to start a career in the field of Business Administration. It provides a sound academic base from which advance career in Business Administration can be sought. Students will be able to work as entry level Business Executives, Project Managers, Business Analyst in different areas like banks, financial institutions, educational institutions, government agencies, software development companies. They will be eligible to join M.B.A course or purse any post graduate program after successful completin of B.B.A.
B.B.A AS AN ADVANCED BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT APPROACH
The B.B.A program is divided into three years. First year is devoted to acquiring knowledge of fundamental theories and concepts. In the second year, the student enriches his knowledge of fundamentals and starts practicing them in Industry. S/he also chooses electives according to his/her areas of interest, and finally, in the third year, s/he starts mastering his theoretical and practical knowledge in real life problems and works on his project work.
The students are required to take up a grand project in a group of 3-4 students or individually which will be part of the curriculum to successfully complete the B.B.A.
B.B.A. is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), comprises of 136 Credits spread over a period of three years (Six Semesters).
